The
front door leads into the sitting room, which measures approximately
30' by 16'. It is a comfortable room with a sofa, carpet, curtains,
easy chairs and exposed beams. At one end is the original Inglenook
fireplace and the dining area is at the far end.
The
kitchen leads off the sitting room. It has recently been renovated,
but we have retained the original "bread oven" as the centrepiece.
There is a gas cooker, large fridge along with all the necessary pots,
pans and utensils.
The
downstairs double bedroom has a fitted carpet, curtains, 5' double bed,
chest of drawers and wardrobe. A spiral staircase from the dining area
leads upstairs to the domitory, which has sloping ceilings. This room
is very popular with children as part of it has been curtained off for
the sleeping area, thus giving a tent effect. There are two single beds,
a cupboard, wardobe and a fitted carpet. This area could sleep more
children if you bring additional camp beds.
The
upstairs dobule bedroom is a pretty room with sloping ceilings, fitted
carpets, curtains, two 3' single beds, a cupboard and a dressing table.
The bathroom is situated upstairs. It has a small bath with mixer taps
and a shower attachment, a loo and wash basin.
